Gallery Auctions

With 2 or 3 auctions held weekly in our galleries, there is always something going on at Green Valley. Our Gallery Auctions feature one main estate along with several smaller estates. The quality and variety of merchandise is amazing. Usually, each auction will have a central theme. It might be antiques, fine furnishings, a specialty collection or quality household; however, every estate has variety.

Gallery auctions offer the luxury of previewing in person, shipping and storage, as well as multiple days to pick up your winnings. Our Gallery Auctions are the most convenient way to bid and buy quality items at auction.

Off-Site Auctions

Off-site auctions offer another great avenue to discover treasures and find quality furnishings for the home. Off-site auctions are online auctions held in a client’s home and successful buyers come directly to the home to pick up their winnings. These auctions routinely offer a chance to bid on vintage Pyrex, quality used furniture, tools and small collectibles. Often along with the furnishings & individual lots, these auctions will offer shed lots, room lots and or basement/attic lots. These are exciting lots that offer the buyer a chance to sort through a room on their own to see what treasures they can discover.

Frequently Asked Questions for Buyers

You can bid one of two ways.
Our favorite way to bid is by downloading our Green Valley Auctions App on your smartphone or tablet.
Simply go to your App store and search for ‘Green Valley Auctions’ and download. You can also bid using your computer directly on our website. Our current auctions can be found here.
Pick up is by scheduled appointments every Thursday from 10-4:30 and Friday from 10-6:00 p.m. You can always find our pick up information for each auction either in the Terms & Conditions of each auction or in the first lot of each auction with the ‘Important Please Read’ icon.
Our auction platform utilizes a staggered closing and auto-extend bidding. Staggered closing allows only 3 lots to close per minute. If a lot is up for closing and it has active bids being placed on it in the last 60 seconds of closing it will auto-extend the lot by 60 seconds. It will continue to auto extend the lot until the time runs out and no more bids are placed.
In short, our auctions do not close all at once and typically take about 2-2.5 hours to close depending on the amount of lots in each auction.
Yes, we require you to register with your credit card for each auction. All transactions are done by credit card and your card will be charged at the close of an auction if you are the high bidder.
No, you must register with a credit card each auction. For security reasons, our system does not store your credit card information.
There is an option for you! We host preview each Wednesday which allows customers to come in and see all of the items on display for that weeks auctions. Once you decide what you want to bid on, you can leave an absentee just like “old times”. We will call you to let you know if you are the successful bidder.
Absolutely! We would love to help you create an account and get set up for bidding. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll love it! We are open Monday – Friday from 8-5 p.m. and you are welcome to stop by at any time for assistance.
